Taking action is an integral part of the PYP and is an important aspect of a student's academic journey. Students are encouraged to take action not only in their academic pursuits but also in their personal lives. The IB program emphasises the importance of taking action to make a positive change in the world.

Over the course of their unit, ‘Sharing the Planet’, students were inspired to take action by identifying and addressing real-world problems. Whether it was through community service projects, activism, or other forms of advocacy, students were encouraged to take action and make a difference. Students became responsible global citizens committed to making a positive impact on the world through collaboration, thinking critically and creatively, and developing important life skills that will serve them well throughout their academic and personal lives.
