VCA夏令营是由美国威睿达思学校（以下简称VCA）全球各校区联合举办的暑期特色项目，旨在为学生提供一个充实、有趣且富有教育意义的暑期。通过参与此次夏令营，同学们不仅能够深度体验美国精英式教育，还能开阔眼界，增长见识，培养多方面的能力。

VCA Summer Camp is a special summer program jointly organized by VCA campuses around the world, aiming to provide students with a fulfilling, interesting and educational summer. By participating in this summer camp, students will not only be able to experience American elite education, but also broaden their horizons, increase their knowledge, and develop their abilities in various aspects.

1. 同学们将会前往VCA美国的两所校区（切萨皮克和阿灵顿校区）进行实地学术交流。VCA美国总校切萨皮克校区以卓越的学术成绩和体育表现而闻名。在这里，同学们可以亲身感受美国精英教育的魅力，参与各种丰富多彩的课堂活动，与来自全球各校区的优秀学子共同学习与交流。

Students will travel to VCA's two U.S. campuses (Chesapeake and Arlington) for an on-site academic exchange, where VCA's U.S. headquarters, the Chesapeake Campus, is known for its academic excellence and athletic performance. Here, students can experience the charm of elite education in the U.S., participate in a variety of colorful activities, and learn and interact with outstanding students from campuses around the world.

2. 此外，夏令营还安排了参观美国顶尖名校的环节。同学们将有机会走进这些世界著名学府的校园，感受浓厚的学术氛围，了解不同学校的教育理念和特色。更难得的是，同学们还能与知名教授面对面交流，聆听他们的学术见解，激发自己的学术兴趣。

In addition, we have also arranged a visit to the top schools in the United States. Students will have the opportunity to enter the campuses of these world-renowned institutions, feel the strong academic atmosphere, and understand the educational philosophy and characteristics of different schools. What's more rare is that students will also be able to communicate face-to-face with famous professors, listen to their academic insights and stimulate their academic interests.

3. 同学们将体验到记忆培训、中世纪文学、世界地理科学、辩论、戏剧和机器人等多元化的特色课程。这些课程不仅有助于提升营员们的综合素质，还能培养他们的创新思维和团队协作能力。

The VCA summer camps are characterized by our curriculum. Students will experience diverse programs such as memory training, medieval literature, world geoscience, debate, drama and robotics. These programs not only help to improve the overall quality of the campers, but also cultivate their creative thinking and teamwork skills.

4. 除了学习交流，夏令营还安排了一系列丰富多彩的活动。同学们将拜访华盛顿国家大教堂、国家美术馆、国会和国家历史博物馆等地，深入了解美国的历史和文化。此外，模拟枪械训练和户外游泳等活动也将让同学们在轻松愉快的氛围中锻炼身体，提升自我挑战的勇气。

In addition to learning exchanges, the camp also arranges a series of colorful activities. Students will visit the Washington National Cathedral, the National Gallery of Art, the National Capitol and the National Museum of History to gain a deeper understanding of American history and culture. In addition, activities such as simulated firearms training and outdoor swimming will allow students to exercise and enhance their courage tochallenge themselves in a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere.

Founded in 2003, VCA is a traditional, elite private school located in the culturally, educationally, and economically rich Greater Washington, D.C. area of the Eastern United States, with two campuses in Washington, D.C. and Virginia.

Program Featured Content:

1. Exchange studies at two campuses in the United States;

2. Visits to top schools in the eastern United States (Harvard, Princeton, Johns Hopkins) and interviews with professors;

3. Sightseeing in the United States (Washington National Cathedral, National Gallery of Art, National Capitol and National Museum of History, etc.).

费用：￥38000两周（本校学生可享优惠价）

费用包含：食宿费、学费、飞机落地后的交通费、各景点门票费

费用不包含：签证费及因签证产生的差旅费、行程内容外的一切消费、境外保险费、因不可抗因素引起的损失费用等

Fee: ￥38,000 for 2 weeks (discounted price for VCA students)

Fees include: room and board, tuition, transportation after landing, entrance fees.

Costs do not include: visa fees and travel expenses arising from the visa, all consumption outside the content of the itinerary, overseas insurance premiums, losses caused by uncontrollable factors, etc.
